I am a New York State licensed psychologist. After completing my doctoral training in Clinical Psychology at Michigan State University, and a Clinical Internship at the Buffalo Veterans Affairs Hospital, I returned to Rochester to complete a 2-year postdoctoral fellowship at University of Rochester Medical Center. The University of Rochester provided me with in-depth training in individual and group psychotherapy with an ethnically and diagnostically diverse population.
I am married and have a daughter. Faith is a core aspect of my life and I am actively involved in my church. I attend a non-denominational Christian church. When I am not working I enjoy scrapbooking, crafting and photography. I took the pictures seen on this site. I am also an avid reader and in the summer enjoy bike riding, walking and working in my yard.
I strive to use a holistic approach that views you the client as a whole person, not just a disease or collection of symptoms. As such our work together may address emotional, physical or spiritual dimensions as well as other factors that can affect your health including nutrition, environment and lifestyle. I partner with a network of physicians and psychiatric providers. I am also available to collaborate with members of the clergy.
